Overview/History:Recasens is a fifth generation family owned business founded in 1886. The company owns its own spinning, weaving, coating and finishing facilities, as well as offering full service R&D, design and testing services. Recasens has built a strong reputation as an international force in the textile industry, serving nearly 60 countries in Europe, South America, Asia, North America and the Middle East. Recasens manufactures many high performance textiles, including our best selling Recacril® 100% solution dyed acrylic marine canvas. Our approach is to combine European styling with good old-fashioned rugged construction, and a small business approach that personalizes service, making it a truly remarkable performance line that is woven differently from what you will find in the marketplace today.

Recasens manufactures Recacril® 100% solution dyed acrylic canvas. Recacril® marine and awning canvas provides zero shrink and zero stretch with exceptional water and fade resistance. The Recasens line also includes waterproof marine lines Recwater® and Nautimar®, as well as Decorline® outdoor furniture fabric, PVC coated fabrics, and Recscreen shade screening.

In 2006, Recasens began a partnership with internationally renowned and innovative fiber supplier Dolan GmbH of Germany. DOLAN 25® Fiber is a superior product that is perfectly suited for the company’s line. Our combined experience in the industry, exceptional technological innovation and design sophistication ensures the production of fabrics of extraordinary quality. The US division, Recasens USA is a subsidiary of SA Recasens has been serving customers here in the US for nearly 5 years
